How are lessons customized for me?
Every person is a unique individual, with different strengths and weaknesses. Each of us also have specific goals they want to get to by taking guitar lessons. There is no single approach to teaching music. Each student has a practice routine and repertoire outline designed specifically by them by experienced teachers who listen to what the student wants, and combines it with an approach that also gives them a little of what they need as well.
What kind of lessons should I be taking?
If you are just starting out and are a total beginner, it would be best to take lessons face to face or through online lessons. Factor on the age of the student and their interest level with regards to lesson length. We recommend 30 mins for anyone under age 10. If they are highly motivated move up to 45 mins. 60 min or more lessons are also available.
If you have already been playing guitar, and have more specific goals personal to you, it is advisable to book an assessment lesson (usually 15-20 mins), in which you and a teacher will discuss your current playing and help you identify your strengths and weaknesses.
