Harry Potter Theme:

Movie Themes make great examples for beginner students to start learning guitar. Students can get a big boost in their repertoire when the music is arranged for their specific needs. For example, a younger student has smaller hands. Their arrangement should not contain any huge leaps or position changes. The attached is one such example.

The skillset of the student will determine how complex the arrangement. And often, multiple arrangements are made as their skills blossom. This piece could be arranged in positions, instead of mostly on one string, BUT, beginner students usually have a much better time playing things on as few strings as possible.

Teaching movie themes also has a no so hidden feature: because the student knows the music, they should inherently know when they are playing it wrong. This makes their own ability to judge how correct they are much easier!
