Jurassic Park Theme – Tab for beginners – Great performance piece!

Jurassic Park Theme

Here’s a short performance piece for a beginner guitar student. Great for kids that are into movies, dinosaurs, and guitar. This piece is constructed using single note lines, in 1st position, one note at a time, and would sound even better with an accompanied teacher playing the chords!

Tackling this piece may prove challenging to a beginner. It’s considerably longer than most beginner tunes, and it contains activity on multiple strings. Alternate picking or all downstrokes doesn’t matter at this stage of the game. Focus in on when changing strings, the picking hand lifts and engages the correct string for the next note coming up. Think of a crane picking up a stuffed animal, then lifting itself up to drop the animal into a box. These transitions will prove to be the most difficult obstacle. But persevere! You can do it!
